ELEC 3030

ELEC 3030 with Stu Wentworth is an introductory course into the essential components of an AM radio. Students will analyze the radio using the required components such as diodes, transistors, and an antenna through simulations in LTspice, breadboarding the radio circuit(s) in lab.

Digital Alarm Clock

Arduino Project

The Arduino Nano is at the heart of this digital alarm clock, which features seven segment and OLED display modules to display the time and set alarm. With three buttons and a knob for control, this device makes for a nice user experience.

LED Box

Arduino Project

The LED Display Box is a great way to bring out the good vibes in any room in your house when you are wanting to change the mood. On one of the faces of the box, you can display whatever logo you want and have total control over the color, brightness, and patterns of the LED lights.

Low-Level Alarm System

From keeping rodents out of your garden to playing pranks on your friends, the Alarm System is a simple system, using PIR technology, that can be customized to react in your own customizable way. (This is not intended to be used as a home security system).
